Default ... a sunroof that opens alone...

Could it be possessed?
Hi everyone...
I'm having issues with my sunroof (Disco II, 2004 SE). Sometimes, when I start the engine, I notice the sunroof opening somewhat.
I've been thinking of a possible relay issue, but I need a second opinion or as many a possible.
If anyone has had any experience with issues such as this one, I would greatly appreciate any input,
Thanks

the sunroof has an ecu. it is tan little box up by the sunroof under the headliner. Could be a bad switch also. I would try moving wires around and tapping on stuff up there to try an isolate the problem. The good news is that sunroof ecus and switches are cheap.

The BCU enables the sunroof via a switched wire from the ignition. You could remove fuse F12 inside the truck, which should kill constant un-switched power to the sun roof, and it should stay in one place, unless there are shorts fom other connectors (water, skinned wires, etc). Perhaps that will help you diagnostics. Wiring diagram from RAVE attached

Thank you both for your prompt responses.
I'll look into the schematic in diagnosing it.
Thanks again.
