Swapped out plugs and wires, still having misfire issues
As the title states, i swapped them out only to have the same problem. I know the headgasket is or was gone. I put in the blue devil stuff and it stopped the smoke and overheating. If there is no compression will it run like this? I was going to swao the coils but wanted to make sure first. Need to have a test done to see if i have dropped a cylinder or couple.

1. If you have no compression, engine won't run.
2. The Blue Devil effect will be short. You may still have some leakage to cylinders, which can cause misfires. If the leak was also coolant to oil, the Blue Devil will not be kind to bearings. Blue Devil and old Dexcool coolant are not friends either, radiator could become worse.
3. You could do a compression test, and see if one or more cylinders are more than 10% off from the others.
4. Codes would help.

Do your self a favor and flush out your engine as many times as it takes to get rid of the Blue Devil crap, it will kill your engine by plugging up everything it touches, especially the radiator, t/stat, heater core and parts of the engine. The rest of it will float around inside your coolant as checks of sticky gum that will continue to get in the way.
