Default Swapping in 04 transfer case...extra switch?

OK gentlemen, I've tried searching to no avail...one of my friends has a '00 D2 that a PO had replaced the T-case in. The replacement T-case didn't have the CDL nipple, so my friend sourced an '04 transfer case to replace it and will be installing a D1 transfer case shifter assembly.

We pulled the old t-case last night and have determined that the new '04 T-case has a couple additional Warning Lamp switches.

My questions are,
- Which of the switches 2 should he be using? (See picture. Both red and green arrows point to a Warning Lamp Switch that wasn't present on the old (non-CDL) T-case.)
- Does anyone have a picture of the connectors for the switch? The connector is cut off from the switches on the new t-case, so we need to find the corresponding connector in the harness and solder a new one in.

It may be a switch(s) to tell tranny ECU or SLABS that you have the TC in low, etc. See attached.

Hey dcarr, I believe that those switches are for the Diff lock indicator lamp and the 3 chime audible warning. The earlier model t-case only had one switch. Hope this helps. JF

On the '04 both are wired in parallel. You should be good to go if you just use the forward / LH in the photo switch only. One wire to ground and one to the SALBS input. Have a look at the wiring diagrams and decide where you want to make the connections.
