Yes Mine Has the ACE option. Just another FYI if you are looking for Articulation on the trail just be aware that the OME HD Spring and Shock Kit are STIFF as ****E!!! Get ready for some traction robbing wheel stands with or with out ACE or Disconnects on your sway bars. Air your tires down a little bit before you hit the trail nothing crazy because I'm sure nobodys running beadlocks. I learned the lesson the hard way in my TJ you'll Rattle the dential work out of everyone with you if you hit the trail at max psi in your rubber esp if you combine it with the super stiff OME HD Lift Kit. I'd personally put in my lift kit air down a bit as to not get too carried away and roll a bead on the trail and take the GF,Wife or Fam out for a trail ride. If there's one thing I've learned about Rovers its different from a Jeep in the sense that you should go out and try your new mod without tossing half your suspension in the trash.
I'm just warning you one more time thats one stiff OME Lift Kit!!

does the ACE articulate as much as having disconnects? It doesn't sound like it's meant for off-roading.

"The hydraulic bloc contains an ultra-fine filter. This must be replaced if any dirt comes into the system"
"The electromagnetic valves, as shown on the upper side of this page, are not serviceable. You can only replace the solenoids- that's all. Here you must also work in a "sterile" environment. Even small amounts of dust will ruin your system- according to the factory."

Hopefully Mike Can Pipe in on this I'm not a BMW/Rover Tec. I was out last winter doing some crazy wheeling up to one of the weather stations on the mountain here and we forgot to pull the pins on the Sway Bar and made it through 2 Rock Sections that we had to lock up both the ARBs for. This truck was similar 2" lift 32" MTRs ARBs all around and bumper/winch.
Has everyone in this post taken a ride with the OME HD kit? The only way I'd use this Kit again is if I were Towing not for wheeling.

JMON are you talking about the extra duty springs? 751f and 763r?

or the heavy duty? 779f and 762r?

Man it's freezing in my garage! This particular spring set is the 763r and the correct OME shocks to travel correctly with the lift. I need to get some free time and bring it to one of the rock parks in town(no joke SLT has 2 free offroad areas with some pretty burly rock sections)!! and give the springs multiple work overs. I want to toss on an 03 shifter at the bare minimum before I bring the truck out for more than mild trail rides. The spin and bump technique to get the traction control working in the rocks can be pretty dangerous.

OME763 with Procomp ES9000 shocks all around and original rear springs moved to the front is what we did to mine. Rob's input again. Working great. Also bought new heavt duty mounting rings to getnew hardware, originals corroded. And new isolator type cushion rings to go under springs.

One night I had met my new club buddies for Pizza, monthly FPLRG get together. I parked in between Rob's DI with 3 inch lift all around and Harold's stock DII. Mine was sagging badly with original shocks and springs. Rob had an extra set of heavy duty Old Man Emu's in his garage.
I ordered the shocks, Rob came over with the new rear springs and helped me install them. We moved the original rear springs to the front with the new shocks. What a difference it made. Prior to change I could not get under the Rover without jacking it up. I even tore off one of the orignal running boards crossing rocks that the rest of the group cleared during my first club trail run.

Removed the rear sway bar when we installed the new springs and shocks. Rob is on his fourth or so Disco and had a couple of Rangies as well. He told me he did not know anyone who was running their rear sway bars. He told me the difference on the trail was incredible. I went out on the trail again, it was amazing.

I can now get under the Rover on a creeper without jacking it up!

We measured the clearance between the center of the tire and the fender prior to and after change. I gained right at 3.5 inches difference between worn out original and new set-up for under $300 installed. I read up on the change before hand and was prepared instead of watch. Rob had done several shock changes and was very proficient. The hundred dollar price for the springs included the installation. I furnished beer and steaks.

When did that website reopen for business? I remember trying to go to the site a couple a months ago, and it said that they were closing shop and would no longer be in business....

If you are referring to FPLRG, they redid some things recently, but they have it back on line now.

Those automated new fangled systems on the DII sound a wee bit strange, especially if you need a clean room environment. Are they hermetically sealed to avoid invasion by dust particulates?

How many microns filtration do they need? Wowwee. Never did like those automated selection made for you type systems.
