Default testing the d2 tranny oil light temp sensors

i know there are two one down by the tranny and one up by the radiator. Does anyone know how, if possible, to test to see if they are dead? im sailing all week but Friday I would like to tear into it.

jump the switch connector. it goes open when it goes bad. its not a true sensor with infinite readings. just like a presure switch. Oh and two sensors only, transmission cooler sensor and transfer case.

but here is the trick on getting the sensor out of the cooler if it is bad, pull out the battery and the battery tray, pull out the air box, use a number three philips head bit and eight mm or quarter inch gearwrench or equivalent to fit it and take out the six screws and push the radiator forward, and out, and pull off the fan as well for room and use a 22m wrench that will fit the sensor and take out the sensor and install the new one quick and reinstall everything else and check the level of the transmission when you are done.
