I see so it kind of looks like it would fit in a TD5 but you know my thermostats underneath so that looks like it’s going from the radiator to the engine top radiator hoses. I assume that would work I don’t know but yeah I don’t need one right now but I’d be looking into it for sure. Do you have any schematics or manual towards setting something like that up so I can get my head around? It

I’m also interested in anyone who particularly knows a lot about the Land Rover upgrade so what would I be looking at to build and modify in my Land Rover? It’s a discovery two 2003 diesel and I’m also going through my engine and fixing hoses checking my AC is not working at the moment but I know it’s just got leaked somewhere. I actually was lucky because the other day I was driving and they stopped and I found one of my hoses was completely busted with its casing. luckily I had some hoses. Already in my car because I was going to do an upgrade and I was able to get out of that situation

but yeah like I’m also looking at what is the typical part of a TD5 engine that I should be doing maintenance on any plugs in the connectors any strange little parts of the car that mechanics won’t look into? I’ve also got contact cleaner and looking at cleaning all the connectors around the bay area of the engine Bay basically just making sure the whole engine is getting looked after

that would be awesome thank you

The TD5 uses the same basic design from factory that petrol engine does except hoses are lower and on left side. Steel bushing goes in place of factory thermostat and inline thermostat goes in top hose. Bypass hose would need to be eliminated. So on this hose we would eliminate the tee and the hose that goes down to the thermostat and install an inline thermostat in the place of the tee.

You can read the general instructions for all our kits here: https://inlinethermostats.com/support/

As regards everything else on your D2, you might be interested in this post (if it doesn't take you right to it look for my linked post):
