well that sucks . Could be the evaporator or one of the fittings buried deep in the ac/heater core?

i think the fittings are outside in engine bay

I'm normally not a big fan of stop leak in the A/C system...but in this case...l'd be all over it. Especially, if the system had never seen stop leak before.

ya that’s what I’m thinking
now to find something with good reviews
I’m in the commercial ac business but never actually used any of that stuff

I've used several different stop leaks, and all have done the job if the leak was minimal. Again, not my favorite way to attack the problem, but there are folks that just don't have the funds for the correct repair (especially the evaporator or condenser). Now, if the system leaks down, from a vacuum within minutes...l don't bother doing any repair (unless correct one)...because it is just a waste of freon and harmful to the environment.

this is a small leak last time I filled it was beginning of last year

I think there are at least two nut connectors ( near the pressure regulator/expansion valve) for the coolant lines next to the evaporator.......
