Default Tips for removing passenger fender?

I need to service my ARB compressor and the previous owner mounted it in the most interesting spot. It's wedged in the engine bay between the fuse box and the SAI pump. Sure, it fits. But now I can't get at the compressor to service it. From its nested spot it appears that there's a bad o-ring seal on the little compressor tank.

The bracket for the compressor is bolted through the side of the engine bay and the only way to access those bolts is behind the fender. So it appears that I have to remove my whole fender to get my ARB compressor out to service it.

I've never taken a whole panel off before. So is there anything I should look out for? Any tips for making it easy?

Thank you!

Get a sharpie and mark exactly where the fender is mounted by outlining it.

Get some painters tape and tape the seam between the passenger door and fender to protect the paint.

outside of that, removing fender well, bumper, and fender itself is easy

Thank you! I have Safari Gard front bumper on the truck. Doesn't look to be attached to the fender.

You don't have to remove the fender liner either; just the bolts securing it to the outer fender. Those are torx head bolts, t25 I think but don't hold me to it. Then there are two or three you'll have to access with the door open back in between the door and fender, one nut on the bottom between the door and fender well, and then the bolts where the hood overlaps the fender. The one nut and all the bolts other than the torx head ones are a 13mm head.

On second look I might be able to take the fender liner out to access the bolts. Seems like it might be a little easier than taking off the whole panel.
Thoughts?

Definitely an option. I'd probably remove the fender so I could see both sides from the top while I was removing it, but it would work either way.

Got the fender off so I could work on my ARB compressor. This is a real interesting mounting technique. Makes me ask, "why?????" Seems that the compressor could have been mounted in many better places. Maybe I should move it....
Thought I'd share this photo for everyone.
Compressor needs a pressure switch since it's leaking. Seems easy enough.
