Default Which Tire?

I'm getting ready to get new tires form Treadwright and I'm not sure which one to go with. I'm looking at the Axiom and the Crawler in 235/85R16. Has anyone bought from Treadwright, if so how did they hold up? Can I get opinions on which tire you would go with. They will be on my everyday driver and used 70/30 road/off road. Thanks for any help

Do you have a lift, if so, seriously consider going to the 265's, same height just wider, with a lot better selection of tread designs. A lot of people really like the Guard Dog, good on and off road, great traction and usually lasts to 45,000 mile plus.
I own Treadwright tires and swear by their quality.

I'm with Mike. I have the 265 guard dogs and love em. I also have a 2'' lift. Without a lift they will rub.

Hard to beat treadwrights...

I have 285/75/16 Backbones...i wouldn't recommend that tread pattern for mostly street use but a great tire. Guard dogs seem to be the tire for mixed use.

I did have 1 tire that formed a bubble/separation. Sent them a photo and a new tire was at my door in 3 days.

I just mounted the Guard dogs on the TF107 rims and I love them. I went with the 285/75/16. Great tire for the money

Check out this website about tire size. Takes a few seconds to load, but worth it.

Input "stock" or "factory" tire values on left side of grid, then input whatever size tire you wish to upgrade to. Once the values of the new tire are input, calculations generate results of the upgrade and determine if you can live with the results. Then purchase or don't purchase the new tires, depending on what mood you're in.
