Default Tire size

Will 265/70-16 tires fit on my stock 1995 disco? I wonder if there will be rubbing issues ect... Thanks in advance!

They will rub, 100% for sure. I have 255/70-16's and I get a slight rub when I turn all the way. They came on my Disco when I bought her and they were like new, so I am stuck with them for a while.

yeah they will rub slightly but you can always adjust steering stops... i run 235/85's on my 95 with a 2.5 inch lift and they fit fine didn't have to adjust anything but you will probably need to go ahead and do a simple camel cut... no biggie. if you don't have a lift id suggest a 2" and you should be just fine

The largest tire you can run with a stock suspension and not rub is a 245/75r16

that depends where you are though. here in jersey we don't get the big stuff, we only get mud pits so huge fat tires became really useful here. which kinda sucks because I like the look of a tall skinny tire better.
