Default Tires rubbing radius arms

Nearly stock size 18 inch tires.. rubbing radius arms. Is this an indication of some other problem?

Did you just swap wheels? What is "nearly stock"?

Nothing wearing/aging out would cause that issue.

If the car didn't originally have 18s, the steering stops will be the wrong length to stop you from rubbing

You can adjust the steering stops out really easily. About 10 mins of work to spin them out a few turns and stop them from rubbing

Ehhhh that's 50-50

I went from 16's to 19's 5 years ago and have never rubbed a day. (L322a wheels)

OP, what is nearly stock and what wheels are you running?
Offset may be wrong.

It's a 2004 running original 18inch wheels I put on new falken wildpeaks in 265 vs stock 255 size. Tires are marginally wider so I was surprised to have them touch the arms

Then I stand corrected. Check the steering stops but it should really have made no difference...

No spacers?

Are the stops in the hub? I did have a front hub replaced wonder if they didn't set it properly

Steering Stops are on the knuckle. 16 & 18inch = a different stop, but honestly it's a 50/50 chance what you have. I've seen them wrong right off the factory floor. I myself personally replace em with a bolt with either washers or a spacer and customize them per the D2.
