Tires rubbing radius arms
Did you just swap wheels? What is "nearly stock"?
Nothing wearing/aging out would cause that issue.
If the car didn't originally have 18s, the steering stops will be the wrong length to stop you from rubbing
You can adjust the steering stops out really easily. About 10 mins of work to spin them out a few turns and stop them from rubbing

True
Ehhhh that's 50-50
I went from 16's to 19's 5 years ago and have never rubbed a day. (L322a wheels)
OP, what is nearly stock and what wheels are you running?
Offset may be wrong.

Steering Stops are on the knuckle. 16 & 18inch = a different stop, but honestly it's a 50/50 chance what you have. I've seen them wrong right off the factory floor. I myself personally replace em with a bolt with either washers or a spacer and customize them per the D2.
