No luck. I did find someone on the road but, she was completely out of gas and most defiantly not the culprit. Our gas stations that supply emergency vehicles are required to keep a certain amount of fuel in their tanks for the emergency vehicles. Also most police stations have their own fuel pumps.

Here they use local fuel suppliers. I see the police at the Shell station all the time, the post office has a credit card for every mailman to buy fuel, the fire dept buys fuel at the BP and the meat wagons are franchised.
Only the municipality has its own fuel supply for the snowplows and road equipment.
The fire trucks are required to fill up after every call before they can go back to the fire barn.

We seem to finally be getting some gas in our stations. I've noticed a few with some busy lines today, and they say it will slowly improve. I hate to see that our gas tanks are not safe. It takes a real low-life to ruin somebody's expensive gas tank just for the gas that's in it.

We are still in bad shape in North Ga, still empty stations and when they do get a little the lines are out in the street, people are stalking tankers, crazy

Yeah things are getting better around here too. Still no premium but the lines are MUCH shorter, if there is a line at all. Some people think it might cycle back around and be a problem again but I dont see that happening.

Oh and Spike, what the emergency services did around here was they would buy out an entire stations shipment of gas, the station would close and if the police cars, fire trucks, ect needed fuel they just pulled up, took the bag off the nozzel and filled up! Some people complained about it, but I just thought dont come crying to me when you are dying and the ambulance doesnt have gas to get to you!

I am thinking that underarmor might keep people from drilling holes into the gas tank? Might bea good excuse to up grade your truck.

I see no problem with that, and I really think it's good thinking on the part of the emergency services. The people who would complain are either idiots or terribly selfish. They basically suck.

It’s shaping up to be cold winter for the global sector. Despite healthy general demand from Asia and Europe, supplies remain in excess as many U.S. firms try to export their way out of the state-side crisis. Those robust supplies have caused global prices for the fuel to drop steadily across the board over the last few months.

$4:18 on average for super premium around here! Kinda sucks that both my Saab and my rover require higher grade fuel..... but I won't be detered from enjoying my toys!
