Default Traction Control ETC issue

Hi guys,

I have a '99 Disco II with 91,000 miles, Just got it a few weeks ago and I have a few issues. The most concering to me is the ETC. When I get on slipery surfaces and my ETC tries to engage it make a tiking noies and dose not seem to engage properly, sounds kind of like an electric motor not engaging all the way. Can someone tell me a good way to trouble shoot the problem or a good manual to download?

Thanks
rhinocat

Default RE: Traction Control ETC issue

If you are on a slippery surface and you try and push it, the ETC will normally engage to give you the best traction, this is normal.
I also own a 99 D2 and if you have any question you want to talk about, send me your tele number, I would be glad to call and answer all your concerns.
Mike
