Default Traction Control Issue

Hey guys. Have a problem. I just got done replacing the front right wheel speed sensor on my 02 disco and the amigos went away. My problem now is that when I take it out for a drive at around 25 mph the traction control comes on and goes off when I back down below 25 mph???? I plugged in the amigo hoping it would clear all the codes. I just disconnected the battery hoping that would do it as well. What am I missing?? Thanks!!!

If the sensor is not EXACTLY in the correct spot it will act up, if it is to close to the exciter ring this can happen.

Im alittle confused on this EXACTLY right spot thing. It goes into the hub and then I screwed the screw back in that holds the sensor in place. How else could you put it in there? Just not understanding and I apologize!

Dont know if this info. helps or not, but when I unplug the sensor from the adapter under the hood, the 3 amigos come back on and its back to running normal like before aside the warning light issues

Still scratching my head on this one...If you push the sensor in the bushing or whatever you would call it, how could you push it in too far since it has the the ring off to the side so that you screw it back to the hub? Is it possible I pushed it in to far and bent the screw holder? I dont remember putting pressure on it? how could I back it off? Not screw it so tight or put a really thin washer on it? Thanks guys!

I dont know all the details, but this is what others have reported over the years, the sensor was to close and the ABS did exactly what you describe.
