Tranny Mode Questions...
I know that on the Disco II's, there are three different settings for the transmission: Normal, Sport and Manual. I was just wondering if anyone could help me understand the differences between the three.... thanks!!

Normal is just that, a preset set of shifting points based on the engine torque, speed and throttle presure. Sport mode allows the tranny to be more responsive, shifting quicker with less throttle presure for more agressive driving. Manual allows you to run the specific gear you want for the climbing you are doing.

Mike,
Whatare the normal Modes or States where the Sport and Manual modesare available?
On my 2002 Disco2, Sport is only selectable in High Range and Manual is only selectable in Low range.......are these the corrct or standard modes/states of operation or selectability?.......recall, I just got my Disco last week and it did not come with manuals (waiting for CD purchased online on EBayto come in the mail).
