yeah I have done this.
You will need a 1/2 inch drive - a short stubby extension.
And you will need a swivel.
and patience.

x2 on deep creep. Or at least use PB Blaster. WD-40 is good for greasing a squeaky door hinge, that's about it.

deep creep is great but at 9-$10 a can you have to pick your uses

Going to try PB blaster today after work. I'll check O'Reilly for that tensioner tool.

True. It isn't cheap. After I broke the first bolt on the steering pump bracket while doing head gaskets, I sprayed nearly every bolt after that (at least every bolt that didn't come out with less than 5lb/ft of force). Same thing on my lift kit. If the bolt wouldn't come out very easily, I sprayed them. I would rather spend $10 on another can than having to extract a broken bolt and possibly tap new threads.
