Default transmission swap question

I bought a used tranny to replace the bad one, the new tranny has the t/c attached. Should I swap both at the same time or just swap the tranny? Thanks

How about getting real specific, what year is your truck, do you have CDL, out of what yearr and does the replacement have CDL?

If it is reasonably low(or lower than the one on there now) miles, and dont leak(too much) and has no play in the output shafts, I would. I replaced the trans in my '98 and just threw on the t-case that was on the replacement trans.

But, to switch them while the trans is off is nothing. 15min job.
