Default Tricks to securing the crankshaft for flywheel removal?

OK, here’s where I’m at, my 4.0 block is on the stand and the heads and pistons are out. I need to remove the flywheel to take the crankshaft out but to remove the bolts I need to stop the crankshaft from spinning when I apply a force to bolt. Any tips or tricks? I’m thinking about putting a block of wood down the cylinder bores to brace the crank as I crack the bolts loose- anyone see any serious problems with that?

Yeah, just wedge a block of wood against lobe of crank shaft and the block.
