The Lucky8 kit does not include a lot of the gaskets for the upper intake area or the throttle body heater.

I think the pictures show it pretty clearly, if you know what to look for. Almost all of the gaskets for the upper intake assembly (e.g. between the throttle body and the plenum chamber) are not included in the Lucky8 kit.
I believe that I used the AB kit on my first Disco 2 and I had a lot of pieces left over. I think at the time that the kit did not include any TTY bolts so I had to order them separately. They were a real pain in the taint to work with, especially at the back of the engine.

I think there would be some leftovers from the L8 kit too, but not as many. I went with a Victor Reinz kit and ARB studs for my second truck.

I’m curious to see if your pressurized cooling system issue is fixed with this. I have the same problem. Great temps, all new cooling system, but always a super pressurized expansion tank when cold and some coolant loss.

Are you loosing coolant over time without any leaks?

If I fill the tank when cold to the cold mark, after driving for a few days, the coolant level will register about an inch below the cold mark until I unscrew the coolant tank cap. Pressure releases and then the level goes back to the cold mark-ish.

That sounds like you still have air pockets in the cooling system. If you are having to add coolant every couple days that is an indicator of a bad HC.

There are a couple of o rings that you will need that are not included in the lucky 8 kit. The water outlet o ring on front of lower intake manifold, and the o ring for the metal hose in intake i believe. Also my theory is if you have cooling system open, replace as much stuff related to the cooling system as possible ie: heater core hoses, throttle body cooling hoses and gasket, etc. Just my 2cents.
cheers
