Trouble Bleeding after Heater Plate Bypass
My throttle body heater plate finally totally went yesterday. While trying to bypass it the hose connecting the heater plate to the bottle broke, so I plugged each end with a bolt instead.
This will be a temporary fix until I can get to a garage to file the bottom of the throttle body to get a good mating service. The heater plate and hoses attached were in bad shape.
The bolts seem to be fine, and after heating up it appears that temps are normal. No leakage.
The only issue is, as I was adding coolant back in it did not want to get all of the air out. I had the bleed screw out, and I can see coolant, but it wouldn't run over, and the bottle is full.
Has anyone experienced this?

Did you unhook the bottle and raise higher than the bleed screw?
