You may have un-related problems. Let's try to use the same words for the same thing. I will guess that when you say the truck will not turn back on you mean that:
When cranked and started from a cold start, truck runs, after a modest trip, and a stop, it won't restart until vehicle cools down. If the starter runs when you try the "hot re-start", and the fan belt moves, you are turning over, but no start.
If that is the case,
(1) can be be the Crank Position Sensor going bad, and it does not always throw a code. You can pour cold water on it to cool it back down for testing. When the Crank Position Sensor dies, it won't let the ECU make sparks, so it can also be verified by removing a plug wire when engine won't restart, and attaching another plug, lay on manifold. Have someone crank the vehicle while you watch for sparks. The CKP sensor is on driver's side , at rear of engine. Picks up a signal from the rotating teeth of the gear to signal the ECU when to deliver sparks. See attached drawing from RAVE. About $75 part.
(2) if not the crank positon sensor, could be fuel related. There is an engine coolant sensor, and a fuel temperature sensor, if defective they can inhibit what is considered a hot restart. This is more common in summer climates.
