Default Update on my D2

So I posted a bit back about some "amigos" that have decided to stay around hehe I figured out it was dirty abs sensors as well as worn brake rotors so replaced the rotors and pads as well as put a new purge valve on which got rid of my "check engine light" so now the only light left is the darn brake light which is due to the parking brake not seeming to work... What would you guys suggest checking, the brake cable? The tightness of the tensioner underneath or is there a E-brake sensor that could have gone bad? Btw it's an 03 disco with just over 138k on the odometer.

Check the brake fluid level. The brake warning light indicates that either the hand brake lever is not in the down position or that the brake fluid is low. As with many warning lights a faulty switch may be the problem.

I did a check with that by running the car and unplugging the sensor on the brake Reservoir and it didn't turn the light off which means it's the parking brake so I'm wondering how I'd go about fixing that but I'll try tightening it first since it doesn't seem to be engaging.

A faulty cap or plug will also cause the light to illuminate. Ask me how I know
