Default update on Terrafirma install on my D2

SO i got the rear shocks and springs in. After a call up to Justin I figured out that with only the tops of the springs machined flat the best way to keep them from un-seating was to flip them upside down putting the machined side (tighter part of the spring) to the ground so the un-machined side would sit in the top holder and hopefully keep everything in line correctly.

As for the ABS and brake lines. At full articulation (using the jacks) the ABS and brake lines are very taunt. I bent the holder down a bit to give it a little more slack but it is scary taunt. I'm going to wait a month or so and see if the springs settle a bit and give it a little more slack at full articulation. If not SS brake lines and ABS extenders will be in order. Especially with larger rubber going on. Don't want lines exploding on the trail....

i took measurements before the install and I will post new measurements after i get the fronts in.

All that is needed is to reroute the ABS lines, they can easily handle a good 3" lift. As for the brake lines, I would replace them cause the rubber Rover hose don't hold up well to heat, age and then being stretched by a lift.

Definitely take measurements after. Let me know what your center of wheel to top of wheel arch is. Especially if you order the 285 treadwrights and they don't rub bad, because i want to see where my lift is in relation to yours, due to my weird spring/spacer combo. Because if they fit yours, and my truck is as high, I'll probably order them too, especially if they make it through rovers on the rocks.

haha sure.. let me be the test subject. Not sure if i'm goin with the 285's or not few issues such as backordering on the 275's and cost of the 285's got my head spinning along with a **** poor review from Josh in St. Croix about the Kuhmo 275's i was looking at....

I know I have a D1 but Justin has the Goodridge brand I really like the quality of the product and Im a little picky when it comes to brake stuff, and they are plenty long enough for my 5" lift with a little bracket modifacation (had to bend it a little)

I just installed the AB Stainless steel brake lines about 3 weeks ago. I feel they are great quality for the money. Clear rubberized coating over the stainless hose. If you can find a discount code from AB. You can get the full set of 4 for $99.

Hilltoppersx, since I've registered apparently I've used my only pm allowance so couldn't respond.

I have a question for anyone who has replaced their SLS with coils. I just installed Terrafirma HD all around and there is a clicking sound every 10-15 seconds emanating from the compressor. I've pulled relay 5 but my new battery is dead in the morning from this attempted power draw. Anyone else experience this? Are there any other components or fuses to pull. The LR dealer is 3 hours away, Is that my only option to have them reset the ECU to coil?

Thanks For any Info
