OK gents,
I posted a post before but no straight answered.....so let's try again.
When installing valley pan gasket on '03 Discovery:
1. Do I need to put RTV sealant on the coolant ports on the gasket (2 on each head)? If I do...please explain the best procedure.
2. Do I need to put RTV sealant on the bolt washers (someone mentioned that if you don't, you can get coolant leak from the bolts, which I find hard to believe)?
3. Any other things I should do that RAVE does not call for?
I don't feel doing the same job twice
.
Thanks!

I just finished mounting it on. Also I put "blue" locktite on the bolts and a thin coat of black RTV on the bolt washers. I heard that antifreeze has a tendency to leak through the bolts. I figured, since I am already here.....why not
