So, LR3 owner for awhile now, picked up a 2003 DII with 79k on it, drove it 2,300 miles from Washington to Tennessee (A/C on 99% of the time) got back to TN and both passenger and driver side floor boards were a RIVER! Pulled the A/C drains from under the vehicle and water/sludge poured out.

So my question is, should I check for other leaks that could produce such a thing? I have rubber mates and ONLY the underside were wet. Headliner was dry and is still dry after some rainy days. So any advice would help!

Any way to CLEAN the A/C Drains?

Yes it's AC condensation/water, it happens when drain is clogged.
Clean rubber plugs, & check them now & then, should be fine.

 

Yep, always check and clean your A/C drains at least annually otherwise the A/C tray fills with condense water and overflows onto the trans: tunnel and carpets. There are two drains underneath near the transmission just squeeze them but make sure your head isn't under them when the water and crud pours out . Good luck

PS when you stop with the A/C working you should see water dripping underneath the truck on hot humid days. Another way to check is set the A/C to the coldest setting on a hot humid day and watch for water dripping underneath then you know the drains are clear.

Easy fix! To bad it looks like the previous owner never caught this on the driver side. After pulling the carpet up I found some surface rust. Going to sand it off, and refinish it. Anyone know what the socket is to remove the seats?

Also, I have a leak in my rear sunroof. Noticed a slight wetness on the (back middle) of the headliner. Any advice?

 

You'll need to pull the whole headliner to fix it properly with new frame seals and mastic. There was an article in the LRO April 2014 on the whole shebang for fixing.
