Default Water Pump Housing

Trying to find a water pump housing. All I can find is the water pump, I can see where it has short bolts that hold the pump to the housing and longer bolts that go thru to the block. My problem is that there is a crack in the housing, where one of the bolts goes thru, and it's leaking. For now I just patched it with JB weld, but I don't want to take a chance on it. I'm going on another road trip in a couple weeks and don't want to fix this on the side of the road, or worse yet overheat the engine. While I'm in there, I'll replace the pump, thermostat, and hoses. Any ideas where to get the housing other than a used one? AB and Motorcars don't have it.....

Oh crap. You are talking about the thing the water pump bolts to. That is the front cover, or timing cover as it is sometimes called. It also houses the oil pump. You are looking at about $500 if I am right.

So that housing is part of the front cover? It looked to me like it was separate

I am lost. Is this what you are talking about?

There is a pulley, attached to a shaft, which connects to a vane pump inside the water pump. That is the water pump. One side is open. It moves coolant throught the front cover out the hose connection. The front cover is tha part that is in between the water pump and the engine block.

This is the front cover. The long bolts go through this into the engine block
