so I think I solved the problem! took fill cap off of expansion tank, started truck, got it up to temperature, and turned on the heater. started squeezing hoses with heater running, and kept topping off as needed. took it for a drive and didnt hear the watery noise, hopefully it solved the problem.
was thinkin i should do that, spike... i was just wondering since they came on/with the new hose... pair of pliers squeeze 2gether opens clamp, right? just asking case i cant get the clamps off the new hose, w/0 damaging it lol

working on changing out the thermostat and upper hose, got tthem put in. added a lot of fresh coolant(dexcool) and now im ready to try to bleed the air out... need to know how exactly to do this... it would be grate if I could get this one solved, today, thanks!
Remove the bleed screw and fill the overflow bottle until coolant comes out of the bleed hole, replace the screw.
Turn the heater on full hot, remove the coolant resevoir cap, idle the truck adding coolant as needed to the overflow bottle.
Keep a eye on the temp gauge and make sure that you have plenty of heat coming out of the vents.
Replace the resevoir cap with the engine running.
For the next 2 days after it has sat all night check the coolant level and top off as needed.

how many times might it take doing this, to fill the system?
did this once only thing different i did was didnt have the cap OFF when idling...
wrong step? just filled it up w/ screw out, replaced screw & reservoir cap and ran the heat on its highest setting. damn , tomorrow im gonna try that with reservoir cap off while runnin... sorry to be PIA with this
