Got some shots of the Discovery around the neighborhood today. I detailed her a few days ago. Thanks to screaminlife for the lamp guards. Now I remember why I had to have Oslo blue

I thought about cleaning it today, but my kids declared that it looks better dirty, so I just thought about getting it dirty...

He's some of what you guys missed at the Green Oval Guild's Turkey Run @ The Wilds last weekend.

DiscoRover007, I'd have to say that the color of your D2 is easily one of my favorites. I honestly have never seen it in person! Anyways, I bought an ultra gauge, finished up my Saudi Grill, and put a Land Rover Special Vehicles sticker on my bumper, and FINALLY got the call that my full size spare tire was in, so I'll be getting that mounted onto the rim sometime today. It will just be interesting trying to mount it! I am currently on crutches with a broken heel, and a cut up calf, and I dont think my wife can mount up the tire!

About a week and a half ago I replaced the driver's seat in my 99 because something inside was broken and the seat would rock front to back. Also the leather had worn through... the new seat is better, but not perfect. The leather is rough, but not worn completely through yet. I think I might try one of those leather repair and dye kits you can get online. I might do the top of the steering wheel at the same time.

Today, I did the ABS mod to my 99... now I just need to get a friend to come over and help my bleed the brakes.

So 33" tires don't quite fit on the back door even with the inverted spare tire carrier.

But at least it's out of my way.

I guess I need to hurry and install my new bumper.

How did the heater core job go for you? Did you do the short cut method?
Were you sure to bleed the system before you started the truck?

I might actually be able to get it to clear if I loosen the bolts and lift up while tightening them down. It just that I didn't have enough hands to do that, because you have to hold the nuts on the back side of the door too.

It still works like it is though... and my bumper is trash anyway, so I'm not worried about rubbing a hole in it.
