What did you do with your DII today?
I got my HELLA Lights in the mail the other day and had some extra time off of work to install them today. I still need to wire them up, so I won't have any shots of them working until tomorrow night. Anyways, here is a picture:
Good looking disco. Are those Hella 500 lights? Or 1000? I ordered the Rallye 4000 but have not installed them. I'm wondering if they are going to be too big. Thanks.
Aha I actually had a dream that I saw you drive by me in your Disco. I looked at this thread right before I went to sleep. All the sudden I was in my DII and I see this fellow 03 with a BA ARB bumper and Hella's. It seriously looks sick, please follow up with us regarding the engine temps.
Added power outlets for MY radar detector (Left side of steering wheel), and two power outlets for SWMBO, daughter and granddaughter cell phone and GPS.
For some British reason my USA 12 volt accessories do not play together well with the stock cigar lighter socket.
Also changed fan clutch to Chevy 4.6 L, mine crashed and burned on the way home from work yesterday

Also: My wife found this picture of our puppy when she was finally big enough to go into the back area for car rides!

Hi all, did this work a couple of weeks ago and i am happy to report no leaks
From Atlantic British, I used the throttlebody heater plate kit and hose from intake to throttle body plate.
For the small hose (connecting to the tube that runs back to the reservoir) I resorted to autozone: Dayco molded heater hose (#128893, B86802) - $10. I cut this down to size ending up with 2 usefull hoses. No doubt i will need to replace it again in a year or 2.
I used a little blue RTV on the rebuild.
And installed real hose clamps...

I was probably on my way to go diving somewhere in your dream! Last night my dream was about going back to Guam and doing some offshore diving there! Anyways, I got a bad cold and a broken foot right now, so as much as I planned on wiring up my lights today, I will probably do it tomorrow and then post the results. And I have had NO issues with any overheating problems that I can honestly say are a direct correlation from the ARB Bumper. I had some waterfall sound behind my dash like I mentioned in the PM about a week ago, found that I had a hair line crack along the coolant hose next to the radiator fan, replaced it, did a coolant flush and my UltraGauge has consistently read about 190 to 200 driving around. So far no problems!
