You could always invest in a mount that moves the tire up so its clears better. I have one from Rover Hardware, and its really solid.

It should clear the new bumper that is sitting on the floor next to it.... and that's already paid for.

Greg Davis. It requires some assembly instead of just bolting it on, which is why it's still on the floor.

Well, it wasn't today, but I recently got my lift installed on my 2001 DII. Went with OME 779s and 2" SLS spacers from RTE. I love the results.

I can't wait to get one of those, definitely the best rear bumper in the business.

Did a small project the past 2 days on my roof rack. I'm slowly but surely getting it to where I want to be. Almost ready for the zombie apocalypse. I added flooring and side grills to it, using aluminum mesh from Home Depot, it was only $8 a sheet and I think it came out pretty good. I ended up buying two sheets. It was a pretty easy project, thanks to Spike555 for his advice.

However I've also realized that I'll probably need to take the side grills off depending on what kind of stuff I'd want to haul. Bungie cords still work great with this thing.

The next step is to weld another bar up front so I can move the lights down for a lower profile. I bought the roof rack with the lights already installed. They used to be chrome and looked really hokey so I painted them black. This is a Surco roof rack and they actually make light mounts for this rack but they are a ridiculous $60 a pair which is bogus Any way the pics. I got the Land Rover emblem from a junk yard Discovery's tailgate. I snipped the back of it down so it would lay flat. I originally used velcro to attach but it wouldn't stick so I just used epoxy. I can't install the roof rack just yet because I also have some paint chipping that I need to repair on the roof.

^^^ I like the way that's looking! Love that you put the LR badges on it.

I got my Disco a little more into the holiday spirit!

Was slow at work so I pulled in the Disco and gave it new brake pads and turned the rotors.
