Not a pain at all, I've done it twice now. Just takes some time and sticky fingers...

I have been driving my 2001 with 99,xxx miles on it.
To work and back.
And, it has not broken down since I bought it in Boulder CO and changed the head gaskets.
So, I am happy.

Just wrapped the SAI tubing in some DEI heat wrap. Not hard at all, took about 20 minutes on each side.

FINALLY: I have something to post in this thread

About 4 weeks ago:
- Replaced damaged front calipers with new proline calipers from RoversNorth
- Replaced all pads and rotors front and rear. Added anti-squeel lubricant to the pads
- Replaced brake master cylinder and added fluid
- Installed wheel mates to the hubs. Prevents wheels from sticking to hubs, makes for ease of wheel removal

Last week:
- Got the radiator flushed
- Got front and rear diff's flushed
- Oil and filter change

This week:
- Replaced broken drivers side windshield wiper arm with genuine new arm
- Unsiezied the CDL. Was stuck in position since I purchased the truck. Used liquid wrench and saturated the underside of the CDL from below the truck and also from in the cabin. Worked the shifter for about 10 minutes and finally got it to slid into the gears as it should. Now it functions as it should and the dash lights come on when activated.
- Topped off air in tires
- Inspected front and rear propshafts for signs of wear
- More to come real soon

Next project:
*State inspection
*Replace all wipers front and rear
*Replace front propshaft
*Rebuild rear propshaft with new u-joint and new rotoflex kit
*Inspect parking brake drum for signs of wear
*Replace bad brake servo booster with used one
*Replace charcoal vacuum intake canister with used one
etc Hopefully have all this done within next 3 weeks.

Hey thanks TRAIRII, I actually got some light brackets now for the roof rack and also added mesh flooring, so it looks even better now! I need to post more pics soon actually.

Thanks! The downhill looks a lot harder in person than on video somehow. It's steep, slightly side hill, full of loose rock, and has sections where the suspension is more than fully articulated...evidenced by the front wheel coming off the ground going downhill! Fun stuff
