Default Front Passenger Door Lock Actuator Stopped Working a Few Weeks Back

Actuator won't respond to plipper or dash button, but door locks and unlocks manually from inside truck. Didn't want to spend money or time out in cold working on it. (It is still cold here in Chicago area.) Don't often have passengers so I got used to leaning way over from driver seat to push down door lock or pull door handle.
I finally just got a "Manual Inside Door Lock/Unlock Actuator Manipulation System" from Amazon for about $4. I keep it in the front passenger seatback pocket and pull it out when I need to open or close the front passenger door. I've got long arms so I don't even have to lean over to reach the door lock controls now that I have this thing. I can even reach back row side doors when those go out. Can also scratch my back with it if I feel itchy.

That's some serious kit, right there. Get a little glove for it in case the wipers ever fail

i bought my disco 2 weeks ago which has million problems.
yesterday I changed the front drive shaft. old one was making horrible sound.
it was an easy task til one of the bolts broke and got stuck when i was unscrewing it...i had to cut the screw.
now she is back on the road with electronic problems only (hill descent, check engine and few more lights on.)
it says something like o2 sensor circuit, we will see what it is today.

Default 04 Roof Rails on 03

Got my 04 Roof Rails off EBay, for 80.00 shipped. Then checked on forums and found the headliner must come down. Took me only 1 hour, Started at 7:00, finished at 8:00. Took my time as to not break any fragile plastic. Went very smooth, and only had to pull headliner down on each side slightly. I did one side at a time and buttoned up before starting other. I am very pleased with outcome, they look beefier compared to the 01-03 rails.

Installed my mirror mount for my Escort 9500IX and wired in the Escort Live to the power plug of the the rear view mirror, ran the wires thru the head liner to the mounted Escort Live for iPhone attached to overhead console, right below the light. Now when I start up, my radar detector comes on, and is not suction cupped to the windshield. When i start my Escort live app, it connects to the detector via bluetooth. Mirror has fingerprints from moving back and forth.

Nice job! I didn't think a radar detector was needed in a Disco.

Looks great!! Is that painted or re-covered?

I want to paint mine black, but after some inspection of my current headliner, I might have to find a replacement. We had a tree land on the roof of ours a few years ago and I think the headliner has a crease across it where the roof was caved in. Probably wouldn't look very good if everything was snug up tight. Right now, the sagging headliner material hides the crease.

Thanks, I had it installed in my truck, and Austin has the most speed traps in the USA, according to an article I read on the Escort forum. Anyway, keeps me on my toes, and when I get my 2-din Pioneer DVD stereo and the headrest monitors installed, It will be my primary ride.
