Car wash and prepped it for daily duty.

Default R&R'd Serpentine Belt

Belt had visible rib cracks, currently at 95k, mx records showed no changes since new.

While belt off, removed the three tensioner and jockey/idler pulleys. Repacked pulley bearings with grease and reinstalled. Does take more time to repack versus just a R&R with new pulley assembles but I have more time than than extra bucks, bearing felt/looked good and less time involve than pressing new bearing in/out of pulleys.

Amazed how much more quiet the Disco is at idle and riding down the road.

Silence is golden except for having to investigate the previously unheard sounds.

Got new A/T sneakers! The Falken all seasons were worn out and wouldn't work through another winter. Looking at the Michelins but with a 30 day test drive on the Hurcules Terra Trac 2, more aggressive tread pattern and $200 difference it was a no-brainer. So far very quiet witch is priority for the primary pilot of this brick...

P.S. went to 265/60/R18 and the tires actually fill the wheel well. I think part of it was we went from totally worn out tires to brand new tires with more tread. The speedometer looks to be more accurate know when it seemed to be 3 mph slower by the GPS or the speed trap radar signs.

Just received new spark plugs for my D2. Denso IK16TT to replace the previous IK16 I installed earlier in the year. See about getting them installed next week.

How did you do that, not once but twice?

Default Too Boring but Chatter Gone

New D2 wiper blades arrived, installed and severe up-stoke chatter gone upon ops check with washers. Wiping action seems good compared to many OE/aftermarket replacement blades purchased over the years for various rides. Happy enough that will be ordering another pair for backup and monitor performance. If they pass the acid test and considered winners will let you know.

Told the "Beast" (hey, my wife named the truck, not me), to play nice with her new stabble mate. ..
