Default Wood Dash Trim on my D2

I'm buying a wood dash trim kit for my Discovery. The problem is, I can't find the matching color for my Rover and its pre-existing door panel trims. Does anyone know of the name of the right color to match a 2002 Land Rover Discovery II with a Bahama Beige Interior. Thank you!

Default The Inevitable - Broken Coolant Line

Have had the top fan cover and lower shroud off multiple times while playing with my D2 over the last couple of month. Today the plastic radiator to reservoir line decided to break. Fortunately my stash of supplies includes plenty of the appropriate I.D./O.D. fuel line. Learned my lesson and other plastic line will be replaced with hose soon.

Been there. Snapped the plastic hose. Used metal fuel lines. Then later snapped off the nipple. Fought that battle with brass nipple patches. Eventually put in a new radiator. Knuckle buster getting around the tranny cooler or whatever is down there. Now I am gingerly anywhere near that hose and nipple.

Why they made that nipple plastic is beyond me!

I pulled all of the brittle plastic hose and replaced with 3/8 (or maybe it was 5/8) fuel injector line.

The previous owner did this on mine, and it blew the hose at the nipple. I got the oem replacement from a member on here, who had a new one sitting around.

Drove to work in the aftermath of the 30" snow we had in NYC while all the "crossover" SUVs were getting stuck on side streets that I went through without a second thought.

Good info to know.

Suppose the fuel hose may handle the pressure involved but not the heat and/or coolant leading to a failure. I'll probably upgrade to actual heater/coolant hose in the near future and use that instead of the fuel hose for the other plastic pipe. Gates 28408 or NAPA H149 5/16" appears to be the hose needed.

Took the truck for a Utah road trip. This thing is great in the snow. Went to Zion and did some light off roading in that area. Then up in the hills to a cabin w my dogs.

I originally used metal rigid fuel line and a pipe bender. Finally went back to OEM tubing with the new radiator.
