was considering it, really i was. then i remembered that i owned an ex-postal jeep years ago. and that was a light vehicle compared to the disco. and that i was 18, in great shape, nothing hurt and the fact that i was immortal and invincible. i am now 40, in better than good shape, everything hurts and realized that i am not immortal or invincible. incorrigable accoding to wife.

I'm glad to hear there's at least one other guy out there that liked his SLS enough to keep it.

Got rid of it and all the problems on Monday... I will miss how it looked though and I can't say I didn't have fun with it.

Didn't you just finish a custom roof rack last month? Pulling the trigger on an lr3?

I did just do that rack. I really really wanted the rover to work out. I liked how it looked and how it drove. I kept fixing stuff, but when I stepped back that truck just needed so much still to fix and I'm pretty sure the block was cracked. I pretty much just said enough was enough with it. My wife was getting tired of it as well.

The LR3, I could just see myself buying it and having a payment plus repairs. May not have been the case, but I didn't feel comfortable with that decision in my head. My heart wanted one. I settled on the blue FJ in the pic above. We have an 11 4Runner that has just been a great vehicle, and that influenced my decision quite a bit.

The FJ is a great truck. That is what my father in law bought after he sold us the rover.
