Brandon, nice FJ buddy. As much as I love the Rovers, I know the quality of Toyota. Me? Well, today I replaced the water pump, thermostat, & lower hoses. Need to order a new power steering pump as the rebuild kit did not hold. Once that is replaced I can REclean the engine bay & investigate a possible oil leak a bit further. Oh & just finished removing the step rails. Wifey is not going to appreciate that move.

Father-in-law sold you the Rover and bought a Toyota. Funny. Looks like you can look forward to years of a great relationship. Be careful next time he wants to sell you something.

Made and installed a new bleeder and tee-pipe, with a little help from Primussucks as to what stuff to use for the build...

Put in a 185 T Stat and replaced the seized electric fan with a used unit. Put on a spiffy used tire cover (LR Elephant).

New to the rover world and first thing I had to replace was air bags for suspension. This week got new driveshaft installed, new battery, used alt, seafoamed, changed plugs and wires, drain and fill of oil with filter, tranny, diffs, and transfer case, driver door lock actuator replaced, ultragauge hooked up, new wipers all the way around. Got some snow last few days so got some fun time to play in it. Got it inspected so I can license it. Dropped it off for tint this morning. Still have a rear back door and rear driver door actuator to replace to get it where I want it. Ordered a new air filter and 180 tstat as well but already had new air filter in it and car is not getting over 200 so may hold off until it gets warm for that change out.

Haha it was our second disco, so I knew what I was in for. I use his garage when I need to work on it too, so he isn't home free. Now he is trying to sell me a few bottles if sailboat fuel though...

Introduced the (front left) wheel nuts to Mr. Propane Torch.

They would not bulge with me (180#) standing (almost jumping) on a 2 foot breaker bar, never had that happen to me before!

Now I can finally get to installing the new ABS Sensors. Any suggestions or pointers?

Today I went for the last drive in my Discovery, as I sold it this morning. I was rather impressed with the buyer as he knew what to ask about, and what to look for... He did research on the rovers before buying, mainly through readings the forums such as this one. 184,813 was the last odometer reading i got to see
