Installed extended brake lines. Bled the brakes and took her for a spin. Pedal was soft. Bled them a second time, pedal is nice and firm. But now my traction control thinks I'm spinning 3 wheels on dry pavement (lol). Got it to throw a code for the front left wheel speed sensor.
History: I replaced the front right 2 years ago when I bought the truck, bearing was bad so I replaced the sensor when I did the hub.
How do I check to see if the bearing bad? The grease inside is clean, bluish in colour. Maybe I didn't put the sensor in correctly?
- Front winch and license plate bracket. Smittybilt x20 10k synthetic
- Mantec snorkel
- mantec rear passenger window guards
- bush cables
- terrafirma wheel arches (meh)
- Greg davis rear bumper. Had this welded up today. Great bumper
- resonator delete. highly recommend (still need to get a proper job done on the piping, I just threw in a 2 foot extension and exhaust tip for now)
Next up I am working on a dual air compressor setup. I want to mount it underneath the truck, but it may be too much work and hassle, and space is really tight. I think the only place to put the tank is where the rear sway bar was, but it's awfully hot up there (directly above exhaust pipes)?
New HD springs on rear to complete 3" lift. Already had the extended HD shocks on it. Added custom fabricated extended stainless brake hoses, and have wheel speed sensor extenders on the way.
Had 2" spacers with stock springs and it was terrible. Doing it right this time. Will do the fronts at the weekend.
