Put on a new serpentine belt to bypass the ACE pump for now... Why do ACE pumps have to be so expensive.

Finished bleeding my cooling system after pulling the rad and giving it a good wash/flush and adding a new 180 t-stat. Temps are pretty low, never got above 189 in traffic with the A/C set to LO. Got as low as 178 on the highway at 110. I'm a happy camper now

Figured out that my intermittent wiper and wipe when wash wiping was not working because the fuse was missing for the rear wiper motor. Upon reinserting a 15 AMP fuse in to the rear wiper fuse bay it all worked again.

I guess that it needed that part of the circuit to communicate with the BCU and IDM.

Strange but true.

Regarding the intermittent rear wiper...

Someone probably pulled the fuse to stop the rear wiper from working upon reverse gear being selected when they failed to replace the blade which caused the arm to dig a big gash into the glass.

Disco 2 sunroofs have 2 shade screens each. Each of those 4 shade screens has a small black plastic clasp to hold the shade extended so that it doesn't automatically retract.

My Disco 2 had 2 that worked and 2 that were broken, so today I bent 2 paper clips into the proper shape to make new clasps/latches.

Yay! Shades work now.

Hauled away one stinky freezer after emptying out 8 rancid turkey breasts, 2 tenderloins, 3 boxes of mussels, 8 packages of bangers, 2 chickens.... I'm sure I've forgotten something.. No appetite, needless to say. Wish I could say that I did something fun but THEN I had to track down the Charter cable guys who cut the wires to my at&t phone and internet yesterday while hooking up my neighbor's phone! I want to jump in my Rover and run far far away..am completely spent, exhausted and can't get the smell of rancid meat out of my head. I have a five o'clock date tomorrow with Charter in my 90 year old neighbor's basement. Wish me luck!

Glued lens back together. Dead branch across the trail did it in...but my grandson found all of the pieces (7)...so all is good.

Added a grab handle to the driver side. Happy with it, so will order one for the passenger as well. It's a rubber coated steel offset handle from mcmaster https://www.mcmaster.com/#1979a4/=18zz8rc

It was a real pain in the *** because I had to remove the bracket that the factory handle screws into. It's welded to the door frame...

And rear door. Need to find another molle panel that fits the other area
