Replaced my blower motor. Still no air through the vents. Voltage at connector, cut the connector and hardwired. Have voltage, but no spin. I think the ground is gone, but I need a schematic to find out where it goes.

Good thinking. You should never, ever paint any aluminum engine block/heads/trans/transfer case/etc/etc. The beauty of aluminum is its heat transferring abilities. Paint neutralizes its ability to do so.

Man, you've been busy on that engine. Nice work. If she runs half as good as she looks...you should have a winner.

Brian.

Whoa! What a page for this thread. Fantastic roof rack and a head gasket that covers the liners so no more Tick.

Well done, gentlemen.

All that I did on my Disco 2 today was hand cut neoprene window/door gaskets to finally eliminate road noise from wind.

That Baja rack is dope! Eventually will get one and do a similar set up with aux lights across the front. Always need more light with how dim the older headlights are. Great job!

Put in RTE 3" rear springs, d1 spring seats, and d1 spring retainers.

Holy moly the ride difference blows the terrafirma HD's out of the water (quick pavement test with lots of dips and bumps). And now I'm happily at 21" from wheel center to bottom of wheel arch all around.

I have the RTE front springs as well, uninstalled, but everything looks really good so I'll probably leave it for now... take it on a few offroading trips first to gauge the difference.

I finally bought the parts to do my Big 5 cable upgrade.
I'm doing the negative cables first:
  • 0AWG from battery - to chassis
  • 0AWG from engine to chassis
  • 0AWG from alternator chassis to battery -
The positive cables I'll do a bit later:
  • 0AWG from alternator + to fuse link to battery +
  • 0AWG from battery + to starter +
Battery cable upgrade
