I put in a Dorman 620112 fan and Hayden 2991 fan clutch fully expecting a healthy drop in temps, but nope, 2 degrees hotter at idle.

On the plus side, I put in a new crank pulley... no more wobble.

Oh and put in extended bump stops

2F warmer thats interesting. I've seen 1-2F the other way or exact same depending on the fan clutch used.

It only really goes in one way. Side labeled front points to the radiator

I'm talking about the direction that the blades are mounted on the fan clutch, not the direction that the fan clutch is mounted to the crank.

I'm sure he's talking about the fan blade -- i have the same setup and it really only goes together one way

No doubt!

Yeah I hear you, but so there's only one way to assemble it together. Air is sucking through the radiator into the engine bay if that helps clarify it

OK, ok... so I'm the only guy who can get that backwards?!

We can all agree that the fan clutch only goes onto the motor one way (big nut!), but was I hallucinating that the fan blades could go onto the fan clutch 2 different ways?
