I installed both TF steering rods today in about an hour without being up on jacks. It would have gone faster except I put the dampener bracket on backwards and couldn't get the dampener mount bolt through it. I torqued the lock nuts to 60in/lbs with a crows foot. It really looks good with the beefier rods.
I was going to document everything with pictures but it was too hot, I was too tired since I did this right after work and too thirsty for 4 beers.
I am defeinitely going to get an alignment by a pro. My steering wheel is slightly turned to the left while the wheels are driving straight.

Oh yeah and no scan tool or ultragauge for coolant temp......I checked on coolant a few time but it remained un-changed....pretty happy about that

Torque increases with the addition of a crows foot. Probably not an issue on this amount of torque, but something to consider in the future.

That’s only if you use a swivel attachment along with the crows foot that deviates from the angle of use.

I was happy with my temps up to Winter Park -- this was going down hill.. Going up I70, had the AC going and hit 199 briefly but was generally around 195.

No, it increases. You're increasing the length of the torque wrench, which is calibrated for its original length.

Nice. I need to get one of those gauges..... I ran last trip without and felt so vulnerable....but also gave me more confidence in the vehicle.,.. But yes I feel weird not being able to see temp....

Also, if you 90 degree the crows foot...there is no increase in torque value. But, straight out...increase. (just for those that may be following along)
