Pulled the dead engine on the project rover yesterday. Stupid transmission to block bolts! At least it will go quicker pulling the good engine from the parts rover.
It makes me wonder if pulling the transmission out with the engine would be better.

Did you unbolt the engine motor mounts, lift the engine just enough then remove the engine mounts from the block, then lower it slighlty to gain better access to the bell housing bolts?

Finally scored an OEM D2 trailer wiring brain!!!! Didn’t grab the lower harness as it was pretty messed up from being caught on stuff around the junk yard when being moved. Simply cut the connector off the outbound side (to the trailer plug) then I connected a new 4 wire (more standard than the 6 Plug Round Connector) to it. All good to go for 10.00 total including the new 4 wire connector harness!

Yup. That made the top 4 not too bad to get to, but the bolts just down from there were a pain.

Gotcha! Yeah when I had to replace a dudes transmission on his 03 along with his TC the top 4 killed me, but tons of long extensions and crazy angles got em loose!

I installed the TF drag link and track rod and my steering was AFU.
Took Myrtle to get an alignment for £42. Now the steering is spot on, handles great and for an extremely good price.
Here is the before and after the alignment...

LK8 hood blackout on. Install was pretty easy actually. Did wonders to cover up the clearcoat fading.

Nice score. Are those sill mounted or frame mounted? I bent my sill this weekend with terrafirma rock sliders, now the doors scrape the sliders

They mount to the sill, but have re-enforced plates on the back.
