I changed the coils and wires in my wife’s 03 yesterday. It seems to run a bit better but stills runs rough and now I have more misfire codes than before. Jacked around with it some more today and nothing got solved.
I also changed the purge valve, which went well and on a productive note, that has nothing to do with how it’s running...I installed LED reverse lights and they look and work great. At least it was a positive end to an otherwise frustrating weekend.

i think I also tracked down the coolant leak on Clarkson04. Water pump....

Changed the water pump on my 03, and spent a few hours disassembling the old 01. Got the rock sliders and snorkel off for the 03...l'll repaint the sliders before they go on.

Greased mechs on all windows, locks and hinges.
While door panels were off, cleaned the fabric etc (this rover is new to me)

Found out I have the wrong washer nozzles on the truck and the passenger side barely works even though I've blown it all out.
Found passenger mirror motor control arm for in/out is broken............

Never a dull moment

LOL Truer words were never spoken. He was sad that we didn't go to the beach. Test drive lead to the liquor store for a bottle of wine then back to work.

alaskan_disco2_girl is that left side (drivers) rear ? If so start up top, there is a gasket under the throttle body and 2 little hoses that are notorious for leaks. If it is that it could easily end up there.

Check the the top of the left hand valve cover for orange, underneath this bit where that green goop is

Each side of the block has a 3/8 looking drain plug. Maybe it’s leaking from one of those? Hard to see in the pic, but one side is close to a knock sensor, and the other is between the starter/motor mount area

Yes, it is the left side (drivers) rear. I'm at work - I'll have to check this when I get home. Thank you, this seems promising
