Trimmed down the spare parts I keep in the rover:

- Took the voltage regulator and brushes out of my old alternator, tossed the rest. A 1 ounce tiny part vs ~25 pounds. I tried to get the rectifier/diode pack off, but it's soldered real good on there. Decided to skip that part for now... as I have 200w of solar and dual batteries anyway.
- Took the pump out of the fuel pump. Major space savings. It's actually very serviceable, all you need is 6" of 5/16 fuel line and two hose clamps (the original line is plastic and crimped on real good.. have to cut it)

I still keep a full starter motor at the moment, only because the starter in my truck is original (as far as I know). I could probably tear this part down further as it's quite heavy, but I need to do some research first on what are the important pieces of it and if a field repair is practical

You keep all that in there?!?!? I keep a booster pack, a tire inflator and a snow brush.

Got p0455 after changing to the Hyundai Purge Valve. Going to swap out the hose clamp, and see if that works, or find a used purge valve to intake clip.

Replaced my fuel pump as a preventative maintenance measure. Replaced high pressure power steering line since it was rotted away; minutes from bursting looked like.. good thing to check if you haven't; it's behind a plastic air dam, under the radiator.

Looks great, Jeff. Gonna clear your diff guards when both sides compress?

Not 100% sure yet. I hit a few big speed bumps and definitely heard a thunk, fingers crossed it was the exhaust...

I'd like to switch to better diff guards as well... I ripped off the rear on a trip last year

I warned the welder beforehand about it, and this is what I got. Also possible concerning is the clearance between the frame mount and radius arm bracket. Got about 4". edit: measured: 3 3/8"

Dammit I hope I don't have to move the frame mount
