VIN Range on an 03 = not a problem anymore. All were fixed under warranty years and years ago.

I thought so, but I couldn't find a definitive conclusion to those issues. Thanks for the confirmation on that Best4x4, you've made my night!

It'll surely help my fiance rest easy... twas a major concern of hers on the purchase.

For a replacement SAI filter, get a K&N air filter #62-1370 with a 1" inner diameter.
You'll have to mod the SAI pump's inlet a bit to get the filter to mount properly but it is well worth it.

I saw your (?) write-up on this and even bought this filter on Amazon yesterday. Decided on the cheap route for now and will probably return to this mod after I make sure everything else is top.

I do love the look of that red K&N in the engine bay though.

I’ve always wanted to win a small lottery, half a mil or so and use a fraction of it to buy up all the land rovers I could. Park them in a lot out back and make it a roadside attraction. Charge people to come visit them (leave money in the box) kind of thing. A graveyard of British history at its finest. LoL, you’re on the way!
