[QUOTE=JUKE179r;693264]@Landy-04 Who made that driveshaft? It looks exactly like mine from A-1 Driveshaft Co. out in Milwaukee. If it is, it's a great build and quality.[/QUOTE
im not sure 100% but it looks like the one from Great Basin rovers.. I scored last time I went to the salvage yard. $40 😎

Did you use spring spacers in the front and back? I've been looking for 1" spacers for the front. Source?

I bought Lucky8's 1" spacers for front and rear. I was pleased with the build quality. My rover sits pretty level but it's a little harder to tell since I cut the front fenders.

I'd cut 1" off the rear fenders - it's easy because you just follow the flat spot. I used bulb edge-trim off amazon to replace the body seal and door seal. And regular edge trim for the arches. It'll make it look less squatty.

coolant tank replacement
Over the last few months, I noticed some dried coolant onto of the coolant recovery tank. By D2 being 19-yrs old, I noticed that the bottom of the cap had a small crack. No problem replace with new. Then I noticed a very small pin-hole in the tank itself. Got a replacement today. Didn't help that the temperature gauge sky rocketed this morning, but at least I know it works. After installation, I filled the coolant tank, started the engine and found no leaks. Then I went for a short drive, upon coming back the tank was whistling out one of the small holes on the back of the tank. Coolant evaporated for the most part in the tank. What is going on?

I got a Joy Factory cupholder iPad mount. It fits and works perfectly. I’m just not sure our jenky cupholders will hold up when going off road. I’m going to see how it goes. No matter, if I see it wont work, I’ll keep the cupholder mount for my Power Wagon and look for another solution for Clarkson.

I have been hesitating on cutting the rears. Do you know if anyone has done a how to on the process or maybe a pic or two? It seems fairly straight forward but body work is not really a strong suit of mine.
