Forgot one other thing on the list today. I have to drop the tank skid and run it down to a local fab shop to add a 45* bend to better cover the back of by tank. After adding my new bumpers it's a little exposed, and I don't want the skid to act like a shovel if I have to reverse over something...

Happily it is not my land rover. Sadly, it is my friend's land rover (his is an 02 and mine is an 00). Drunk driver, uninsured, driving on the wrong side of the street. Launched the parked rover over the curb, about 15 feet into the yard. It did not SKID, it was launched (rear right wheel hit curb, popped up, and landed in grass several feet away, with all other wheels still on the street). Happened at 3am.
When I come out of the house in my jammies, really ignorant cop asks me if I have been drinking. HAHAHAHA. I guess he thought I'd wrecked the rover and driven it to my front curb, then went in and changed into pajamas. Um, the engine was cold and there were skid marks leading to the rover and antifreeze and oil leading away. What a genius. Me, very sleepy: "Um, I don't drink in bed. Why are you asking that?"
What is amazing is that there is so LITTLE damage. It drives almost perfectly (steering is a little loose and steering wheel is upside down). Did not break the radiator or anything else except as pictures and the washer reservoir. Nothing leaks. ONE TOUGH TRUCK.
The perp? Kid in a 2009 Chevy Silverado. It bled fluids for two blocks until it died. The front was completely smashed and shifted.
The really sad part is that this was/is my buddy's project car, not his daily driver, and he had liability only on it. In fact I bet he hasn't driven it 50 miles since he bought it 7 months ago and it was finally perfect. 2 days prior it got new driveshafts.

It's a reasonably cheap fix. I'm thinking it will be about 800 in used parts. Hood, left quarter panel, front assembly, washer reservoir, fog and driving light... and whatever is causing the steering wheel to be exactly upside down while driving straight.
I parked my old Mercedes coupe in the exact spot (Just behind UPS truck that popped into my shot)... so far no one has hit it... dammit.
I flushed the coolant, installed the 180* thermostat, and the proper green coolant. I followed DiscoMike's bleeding instructions explicitly so I don't get yelled at....haha So far, It's running cooler, I'll need to bleed it again I'm sure.

Installed my New-to-Me Battery/Jack Cover and Shift Lever I got from Disco_Fever. Both items showed up packed well, and in exceptional condition. Thank you Disco_Fever!
The cover was the one part I was missing when I bought the truck, and the pin in the shifter that holds it into a gear position was broken. Now all is well in Roverville.
And, my A.D.D. can finally take a nap.

Washed and treated my recently purchased used Pepboy Destiny M/T tires with Mequiar's Endurance Tire Gel. These tire have rubber that is a bit dry. I used this not so much for the nice black look that last for weeks rather than days, but more for the conditioning of the rubber and trying to protect it to last a bit longer, as these were not pristine used tires I picked up. The tire gel seems like a much better tire rubber conditioner for a black/shine product than the silicone spray-on tire shine type products.
