Ran into something over at the farm that was buried in 4 foot of grass. Damn, my Rover is mint condition so it's going into Vorderman Body Shop for repair. About $1700 worth of damage. Think I'm going to have him install new wheel well arches as mine are sunburnt.

Yep, except in full scale and not as glossy. I was driving, so couldn't shoot a picture.

Had to walk a few miles to an O'Reilly's to pick up a new coolant reservoir tank cap, mine apparently failed while I was on the highway, and the UltraGauge saved my butt from it getting too hot (it was about 230 for 20 seconds) before I had space to pull over. Apparently the ones sold by AB are two pieces and mine failed at one of the tabs that keep it all together, once the pressure built up it shot the top part (the part with the female threads) off the top of the tank. Doesn't look like the male part had any damage, so I'm hopeful that it shouldn't be an issue now that I replaced the cap.

Drove it home after buying it. I then removed this nice exhaust tip.

I love that color and want one of those. That color was used in '99 & '00 only, I believe, and the official name is "Kinversand". There must be other people who like it as well, as you will note there are many makes and models with a similar color in the new cars/trucks coming out.

Default Magnecors are in!

Picked up the Bosch Platinum +4s too. Good deals on all. I'll try and take good pictures as I go through the replacement. Going for compression check as well to get a baseline. I'll start with the sticky how-to and go from there. Just got this, my first, Land Rover; 10 weeks old. Dealer maintained is good on fluids (as I replace them they look good), but they missed the known problems...front drive shaft, ignition wires, thermostat and hoses...all factory. Well, I'm getting there.
