Also tightened the valve cover bolts in the back as they were seeping, the driver side was lets say less the hand tight.

Was checking the torque on the header bolts and noticed the bleeder screw was seeping on the upper rad hose. no big deal, just give it a little snug up. wrong. broke off in my hand. walked to the hardware store, got a 6mm short stainless large washer head bolt and a washer gasket, good enough to get me to work. wrong. plug popped into hose.

call the local car dealer, 156 plus tax for the hose, I whistle and say thats spendy. He instantly comes back with well I can do it for 101 out the door.

well at least it needed it anyway, the old hose sheered right off during removal and was quite swollen.

now to get rid of the plastic thermostat and other hoses and attack the water pump and get rid of the viscus fan.

R&R'd the rear center seat belt which jammed 2 years ago. Needless to say I don't have enough rear seat passengers to have pushed me to replace it sooner but I'm shuttling the grand kids around a lot this summer so I need it now. I found one on eBay from Paul Grant for a very reasonable $79! Lots of those cheap plastic tabs to remove and a couple broke. Nice hot humid Houston morning so in an hour I had the new one in and my shirt was soaked!

Just another day in Rover land!
